Great little table! I bought two of these tables. This one to use in my four season porch. Easy to assemble. Good height for counter chairs/stools with a seat height of 24". Perfect for snacks, paying bills, and laptop computers. If you want to put two chairs side by side they can be no wider than 17". Otherwise two across from each other can be as wide as you like. Great price too. |

excellently built at this price point This is a superb, good looking, no nonsense table; which fits in with a wide range of decor tastes. The table is very sturdy. I have mine loaded up with a hundred pounds of computer equipment without any issues. The clear span beneath the table means it can bridge over another large piece of equipment below; something which is not possible with most tables as they must have cross bracing between the legs to prevent wobble. The legs are bolted into a wooden angle bracket which is in turn attached to the top surface's skirt. This tried and true method of construction means that while the legs are easily removed, they are equally easy to tighten should they loosen through age or use. This is the most common construction approach used with piano benches as they take a tremendous amount of side to side wear and tear; which causes other leg attachment methods to wear out and become loose. It also means that crafting new legs of different a height does not require an experienced woodworker, and is within the reach of a weekend warrior. (Though a drill press and jig would help with aligning the post tap holes.) One issue to be aware of is that the top surface is not a writing surface. Ball point pens and pencils will dent it. Quill and Fountain pens are naturally fine. :) Oh yeah, just for kicks: it's made in Malaysia. |

nice table This is a great table. I looked for a long time to find this size, it is perfect in the small space that I needed it for. Your website is great! I couldn't find a better deal anywhere. The matching stools look perfect with it. Buy this table! |
