These are beautiful rocking chairs! We love them. The assembly was easy to do. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. They are nice and sturdy and look just as described.

Love this chair. I put it together myself. It took me a little while but got it done.
Gorgeous chair but utterly useless

Beautiful, very sturdy well made chair. Easy to assemble too. Gorgeous wood and color---the quality and looks of this chair are exceptional BUT you can only look at it or sit in it---you cannot rock for even a few minutes----this chair literally "walks" across the room in minutes. It will not stay in one place and is very heavy and difficult to move back into place when you are holding a baby and only have one hand. I have the chair on an area rug and have tried every suggestion that I can find online, I even called the Carolina furniture factory to no avail. I put rubber bumpers on the bottom--no work. Tried an upside down rug with the rubber backing to the runners and now I even ordered grips called Dura-Grips that are especially for furniture that "moves" on either carpet or hardwood floors. This last one has helped a little but it has not solved the problem. I cannot even imagine putting this heavy rocker directly on my wood floors, it would ruin the finish once it started walking again. I am open to any suggestions that anyone may have. Help!! I love this rocker but can only look at it.

Just finished assembling this chair. Easy assembly, very nice finish. This chair has a LOT of room, is comfortable, sturdy and the arms are at just the right height to relax the shoulders. Definitely worth the purchase. Would suggest to add a little glue to the wood plugs so they don't fall out.Only negative is that it was made in [*] instead of North Carolina.
