I also was not happy with the flat paint that was used. I think in future you should mention that the bench is a flat black colour. The spindles did not look exactly as illustrated, they look more Colonial than Windsor. The shape of the back of the bench was also not as illustrated. Was this helpful? Yes / No

We gave it as a present and the recipients were happy with it except that the arms for the bench did not fit (ie. holes not aligned).
