Good gate for the pricing.

I got these to help keep my dogs out of my new roommates rooms. So far they have worked well.

We got this gate to keep our residence cats away from our new kitten who thinks he is going to be the ‘alpha’ cat. We were keeping him in a separate room for 2 months, when we tried to bring all of them together and he attacked one of our cats. We had this gate for 3 weeks now: they spend a lot of time at the gate looking and playing w/each other. I hope they will work their differences between them so we can be re-introduce all of them again and be one happy family.
great pet gate

I replaced 2 pet gates with these when I added two kitties to our family. I have 1 dog. This was to provide the cats with a safe haven while we were getting acquainted. They were perfect for that. I am still using them, but now it is to keep the dog away from the kitty food. Please note that my 60lb dog was able to get through the pet door at first. We remedied that by adding a 3 " high piece of plastic to the bottom of the pet door. Works great. In retrospect, I probably didn't need the extra tall gate. It sometimes hinders getting through the people gate with laundry baskets, groceries, etc.
Well Made Dog Gate

This is an extra tall dog gate. I use it to block my 2 dogs from running to the door when there is a visitor.

I adopted a dog that came from an abusive home. Needless to say, she has some issues with my other dogs. She's very possessive and territorial, so I can't leave her unattended with my other dogs. This gate worked perfect for when I'm away. At this point in time, I didn't need the little door, but it was so handy when I had cats! I did have to use the anchors since there isn't a full bar across the top. The anchors just make it sturdier and I would highly recommend using them.
Works great for large dogs

This is the second that we've purchased of these gates, which worked perfectly to allow our cats to escape our 80 pound dog. Now that we have a puppy, though, it doesn't work, since she can fit through too! She's already up to 30 pounds and can still easily fit through the door. I know that when she grows up, this gate will be useful again, but I think that it would be nice if the cat door were smaller (it really doesn't need to be so large).

I found this gate the perfect size for an odd - sized inside doorway. The walk through is a bit narrow, especially if carrying an item or two. Having the small pass through to open for our cats is most helpful. And since we have multiple - sized dogs is the perfect answer to containing them all when needed. Setup was simple. Also like that an extension comes with and more can be added if needed in future situations.
This pet gate was perfect!

I bought this pet gate to separate my dogs between two rooms while allowing my cats to enter and exit the rooms without having to jump over the gate. The cat door is rather large so I had to make some adjustments to keep my 50 lb dog from wiggling through the opening. I would recommend this gate, it's sturdy and does the job!
Baby gate for a family with a cat
Heidi from Mechanicsburg, PA– Verified Buyer
We got this gate for the top of our basement stairs. We have a soon-to-be mobile baby and a kitty that needs to go to the basement to his litter box. It seems to work well for this purpose even though its not intended as a baby gate. Our doorway is narrow so the walk through area of the gate is extremely narrow but there's probably not any better options out there for us.

Only 4 stars instead of 5 because the tension prongs at the end are not very sturdy. In all honesty, if the dog was smart enough, one good shove and the whole thing would come crashing down. (Althought we have not had that problem yet). I don't like the idea of screwing the holder cup things into the wall or door frame to secure the gate, for one it's ugly, two we move the gate frequently based on our needs.
