Capel St. Johnsbury Multi Rug
Jill from Utah– Verified Buyer
I purchased this rug to put at the bottom of my staircase and it's very nice! Good quality, rich colors and thick braids. The rug is exactly as pictured and the craftsmanship is great. The sales associate that helped me place my order was exceptional!
Love this Rug

This is the third Capel Plymouth rug I've purchased. I love the weight, look, color, ease of vacuuming and durability. I live in an updated but very old cottage in a costal area. The look and color of the Plymouth braided rug is perfect. I love the casual cottage look but not country-ish style. This rug is primarily wool, so it wears great, and the colors look very natural and true. Also, the heavy, chunky weight keeps everything in place, even under a dinning table and chairs.
Great, classic braided rug

I have owned the Capel Plymouth black braided rug for several years. I have a small one in my boys bathroom and a large one under my everyday eating area. I love the classic, bold, folk art colors and the black. It's colorful without being overwhelming. I have a dog and boys who track in sand from the beach, and this rug is very easy to keep good looking. I use a vacuum with beater brush on it and it looks great. I love wool carpet and rugs because they last, last, last and look good always without much wear showing.

The threads of the old "Gee-Haw Plowlines" remain the foundation of Capel, the most successful and diversified organization in the rug business. A member of the Capel family oversees each area of operation. This personal dedication to quality and value is the cornerstone of the Capel heritage. It has been more than 80 years since the days of the old "Gee-Haw" plowlines, and Capel is far from the end of its rope.
Capel is responsible for its own spinning, dyeing, weaving, braiding, sewing and selling. Raw materials consist of all the appropriate floor covering fibers such as wool, rayon, nylon and acrylics. Today, Capel employees number approximately 450 people and more than 20 different rug styles are manufactured, utilizing more than 200 different braids, and in excess of 600 different items in finished goods inventory plus many custom sizes and shapes.
