I have to say that my experience of receiving and assembling this piece has been very mixed. I do like the completed chest and am glad I bought it. However my delivery instructions were ignored and 90 lb box was left in apartment managers office approximately 1/2 mile from my front door. Could not lift it to get it in my car let alone get it up my single flight of stairs. Had to open box in office and carry all the little pieces to the car, drive to home, then carry them up my stairs to my door. Why delivery person with dolly could not have just left it at door as requested, I don't know. As far as assembly, this piece took a very long time to put together for several preventable reasons. (And I have put together a lot of furniture in my time.) There are no written instructions, only pictures. Pictures often are very small and even with magnifier were hard to dechipher. Hardware was missing. Several pieces of hardware were drawn incorrectly and looked nothing like those pictured. Many holes were not predrilled. The backing was too small and to place the screws in the holes and screw them in resulted in driving screws through the side of the wood and into the shelf space about 5 times. Because you perform this procedure with the front of the chest on the floor you cannot see the damage until you finish all the back screws. Drawers are hard to get squared due to lack of predrilled holes. That said the doors went on easily and I had no problem getting them flush as shown in the pictures. Drawers went on tracks easily as well, but only after wrestling them into submission trying to get them square. Paint job has many flaws, but I always planned to repaint. I love the design with the shelves on top and drawers below. Plus the size is exactly as specfied and fits my closet well. Glad I bought it, as said, but wish it were designed more thoughtfully for ease of assembly.

The price was just right for this piece. Easy assembly and quality materials. Looks great in my son's room! It is not a big armoire when you look at it but the drawers and upper area offer a lot of space.

I damaged one piece putting it together. The manufacturer send a replacement part for free.
Exactly What We Wanted!!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. It was fairly easy to put together except for one of the drawers that is just a bit off but will close. We especially like the spring hinges on the chest. The chest and drawers are very spacious and I would definitely recommend this 2 door chest with 3 drawers to a friend.
Doors NOT as shown in photo

MAJOR DESIGN FLAW: Purchased to go in my daughters nursery. Pieces were not labled, not too difficult to figure out what went where, but NO directions on adjusting door hinges. CON: The WORST, doors shown in photo are set in flush with drawers and side of cabinet. They DO NOT, there is a piece of wood across the top opening that will not allow the doors to recess. We had to remove/re-drill holes for the hinges, then mount the doors. It worked, but the doors are not flush with the cabinet, and it looks very strange from the side view. This is a Storkcraft product, although they don't say that, it's shown on the box. We thought for the price that it would be quality. The materials are, the design is flawed. Upon contacting the manufacture, they had no reports of difficulties with the doors (that had to be imnpossible, unless I was the only person whose purchased this item). We have assembled over 21 pieces of "assembly required" furniture, never had ANY problems...until this one.. For the price, not worth the hassle.
Perfect for my 17month old!

Construction similar to ikea, but very sturdy. Will last many years until she literally outgrows it (as it's kid sized).

I do not like this. Itl ooks like its been sitting on the shelf for ever. The finish is all gross looking. It looks cloudy and the doors don't fit. Where they are supposed to close they are too small and it doesn't reach, so they don't fit. I am very unhappy with this.
Very good for my grand son bedroom
