I use this product to open all caps and lids that are too hard to open by hand. It's much better than the textured rubber pad I was using before. It's great that it is so versatile. It can be used on a variety of types and sizes. It can lift rings on plastic plugs in milk containers, as well as pull back tops of soup cans. It is comfortable to the hand, too. I have sensitive skin and arthritis in my hands, and this takes the pain out of opening things. It can't turn a water-bottle cap that has a pull-up nozzle on top, because the metal bottle-opener feature interferes with it. That one is not needed as much, however. I love this little gadget. I was so frustrated trying to open a jar from 'the Farmer's Market'. Here I was with this jar of beautiful canned homemade fruit, despite driving across town for it; there I was stymied because I couldn't get the that stubborn lid off. I had a a stash of 'easy-openers' but, NONE of them would work because the lid was incrediby thin & wider than those silicon wafer discs or hard rubberized dome grips. Nothing work until using this 'Zyliss' opener. It was so easy; there 's a little bit of a learning curve but, honestly after the 2nd or 3rd try, you will be looking for things to open just because! All it takes is adjusting the little belt around the offending lid-just have a little patience with the supper thin ones & you'll see it so incredibly easy to use! I'd even used it to remove a hose from the fawcet connection; it worked great!"..." Read more
