The predrilled holes for long screws that are critical to holding the piece together are very poorly aligned. Assembly is even more difficult given the extremely poor directions and confusing diagrams, and should not be attempted by one person alone. I was very close to returning it, and hope it holds up well despite that a couple of screws are at angles. The cushions I ordered are thick and very comfortable. The only problem is that there is a large gap when the headrest is fully reclined.

This chaise lounge provides a comfortable place to relax on our porch. The assembly instructions were minimal, and misleading; the predrilled holes for some critical bolts were slightly misaligned, making the actual assembly very frustrating and difficult even with two people. A couple of bolts are at an angle; I only hope that it will hold up well with use. The cushions are deep, but the design allows for a substantial gap between seat and back when the chaise lounge is more fully reclined. Extra pillows will be needed to make this more comfortable in that position. Most options for double chaise lounges are very expensive, and for this price the instructions and the predrilled hole alignment really should be better.
