The best Love poached Eggs. Any cheap pan will do the job. But I love this pan and can be use as a sauce pan. Use butter or oil (never pam! destroys the pan.) Cold water in the pan, eggs in the poachers, cook at a medium heat with the top off. Watch your eggs till the white are cook as you desire. Once you are happy with this you see put the top on for 1 minute (60 seconds) and your eggs are perfect and ready to eat. I own several calphalon pans and I found them to be exceptional cookware. Im 66, love cooking and I have gotten to be a picky old bugger about my cookware. So if I own it and like it, it must be some good stuff. Owned about everything, stainless steel to cheap-o tin. Good pan! |
