Great Knives I had got the Calphalon Katana knife block set as a wedding gift, but it was only an 8pc set so there were slots that still needed to be filled by knives not included in the set. (ie. bread knife, Nakiri knife, Chef Knife etc....) this knife was one of the ones that i wanted but was unable to find it locally, the block came with a santoku knife but it was only a 5.5", but this one really is the best knife in the entire block. this knife + the katana block set is the best bang for your buck for knives of this calibre. highly recomended for the at home chef. |
