Love this but will tell you that you may need to find a place to put just for this pot. It is large, but is what I was looking for.

I'm in the process of a kitchen re-model and decided to replace my pots. I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet but I look forward to the completion of my kitchen and putting my pot to work!

Married in 1966 and given many pcs of the original anodized and stainless steel Calphalon pots and pans. Lovingly used for all these years, until last year when my ancient but favorite 12 quart pot developed a leak?!
Calphalon 12 qt stockpot w/lid

Review for WayfairMore than pleased with this stockpot. It is plenty big, heavyweight, easy to use, easy to clean. I've been a Calphalon (professional series) cook for over 10 year and love the product and the service of standing by their products. As a family of 10...yes, 8 children... we need a large pot just to well, cook dinner. This is perfect and [...]. I'd highly recommend this for anyone who requires a large stockpot, of course an extra shelf maybe required too!
Beware of the glass top!
Dr. David from Kansas
My wife loved this until only a few weeks after we got it, she placed the glass lid down on the stove next to her, stirred the pot, then accidentally hit the handle of the lid knocking it onto the floor. It crashed with a very loud smash, and shattered the glass top into thousands of small pieces. We are very disappointed that they didn't make the glass top out of bulletproof glass, or unbreakable glass. Now I'm exploring the internet to try to figure out if you can even buy a replacement lid for it or not ! ! ! Otherwise, if you're very careful not to drop it (or drop anything heavy on it) it is excellent for cooking large stews etc. This would be a five star rating except for the glass fatal flaw.
Just What I Needed
Cooking cuz I have to from Baltimore, MD– Verified Buyer
My mom gave this to me as a gift, and it's terrific! I make large quantities of chicken chili and other healthy meals, freeze them, and take them to work. Before getting this stockpot, I would have two large (or so I thought) pots going at once. Now, it's all consolidated to one. I was concerned that things wouldn't cook evenly, but the pot heated quickly and worked beautifully. It just fits in my pot drawer by a hair. Love it! Thanks, Mom!
A great stockpot for a reasonable price!
Greek cook from Cleveland, OH– Verified Buyer
I use it primarily to cook stews and greek meatballs which have a thick sauce. The pot works well as it is wide which allows the sauce to boil down and thicken. It works well for stuffed grape leaves as well.
