I do a lot of braising and sautes and this pan is perfect for our family of 3, and now that we've just added a new baby, I see me using this a lot in the future for 4 as well. Wish they made a 12" one for when we have company. (Calphalon has a 12" one in their Contemporary Nonstick line, wish they would make on in Contemporary stainless steel...hint hint if someone from Calphalon is reading this!) Was this helpful? Ada the Amature Cook from Washington DC	5.0 9/9/2010 Perfect Fit Product Review This pot is perfect because even though i have several different pots, pans, and baking sheets, I needed something that was a perfect fit for different meals. I have a skillet that is too small to really cook sauces, and a medium pot that is to big - so this is my 'in-be-tween' and I love it! Service Review It took some time, and it had been placed on back-order. I had ordered it for my birthday, and got it about 3 weeks later. I have others like it in the "non-stick" category, but the stainless steel is perfect for searing or slow cooked items in sauces. I will most likely get a second one soon.
