California Umbrella 9' Push Button Tilt Market Umbrella - SLPT 908

Fabric somewhat thin can see where the sun is but does shade (recommend $10 fabric upgrade). The tilt button is a bit high. I have a 48" round table and I am 5' 10" and have to be on tippie toes to get to button and stretch to reach bar of umbrella to push it in upright position from tilt. I use it daily and open and close it multiple times a day (smoke outside and don't leave it open - in Okla. and gust of winds come out of nowhere).

I only wish it had two tilt settings and could be lowered at the base. For the price, it is a great umbrella.Very good quality,and many colors to choose from.

Haven't had the umbrella open on windy days but haven't really had any real windy days. I like the idea that the fabric is washable and seems easy to remove from the frame but I will store it in the winter. It has good coverage and is easy to open and close.

The umbrella continues to swing around our table when it is in the tilt position. If we do not hold the pole with our hand it will swing around and hit the individuals sitting on the other side of the table.

We had several umbrellas destroyed by high-winds in the past, but so far this one has held up. We keep it it the down position except when we are actually using it. The bright blue color it cheerful and adds a festive feel to guest meals on the deck. The only down side so far is that the hand crank has become a little freely and requires some strength to operate. The tilt feature works well but is easier to adjust with two people: one to push the release button and the other to tilt the umbrella. This is not due to any problem with the release button, but simply size and height of the button when mounted and open over the table.

I had purchased a different umbrella earlier in the summer that was Sunbrella canvas in taupe. I bought this one because it said the fabric was Sunbrella in taupe. But the 2 fabrics could not be more different. This one is very thin, allows light through it and does not carry the Sunbrella label. The color does not match the "good" one and is more brown than gray. I use it to filter light over my deck plants, but wouldn't want to sit under it in the midday sun. Can't imagine Sunbrella would make a fabric like this.

I couldn't find an adequate umbrella locally so had to shop on the internet. I was delighted to find a wide range of colors and great prices at your store. The umbrella is big, sturdy, and colorful. (I bought "tuscany" which is a burnt orange).

Your customer service rep guided me to a web site to find examples of colors so I could choose the one I wanted. Thanks! I was amazed at how fast the umbrella arrived across the country to CA--almost two weeks before I expected it.

I bought the bright blue - nice fabric, great color next to the pool. However, it's been tipping over, like the wind is not going through the top section. Also, crank handle is squeaking and is made of plastic. If you are using a table and are not folding this up and down daily, you'll be fine.
