CalPak Hydro 18" Backpack and Shoulder bag - abp202-

For the last 6 years I have purchased a new backpack every year for my children. Every year they get some cheaply made cartoon character bag from the same store we get their other school supplies from, and they only last one year. They fall apart, and the characters are no longer what my kids are interested in. So this year I told them we are going to invest in a really well-made, sturdy backpack, as they are older now and bring home a lot of homework. I showed them the descriptions and pictures online and let them choose from hundreds. My daughter chose this one because it is her favorite color, but she also loves the design, all the pockets, and the soft, padded straps! It isn't like everybody else at school, and she is excited about the fact that she can use it for the next few years - so am I! And it actually didn't cost much more than the cheap ones. We're all happy!
