I have lusted after this pan for some time. I was surprised to find it at Wayfair, for the best price, and jumped at the opportunity. This is a heavy cast aluminum one piece pan, and it has a high quality non-stick surface. The center tube is higher than the rest of the pan, so when it is turned over for cooling it won't need to be propped up on top of a soda pop bottle. I am a loyal fan of Nordic Ware Platinum pans. This pan will live up to the reputation of Nordic Ware. I like the design of this pan, and the extended handles allow for a good grip with potholders when removing this pan from the oven. Made in the USA, and this is a top-quality pan. I am looking forward to having a few bake sessions with my granddaughter so we can show off this pan."..."  Read more

I used my new Nordic coffeecake pan for a rum cake I have been making for over 30 years. It turned out just perfect - it popped out of the pan first try, and I used it 7 times in a week and it was perfect each time. I quickly bought two more, one for each daughter in law. and they've already used theirs and love them. Nordic has always been a solid, dependable product. I have many other baking pieces of theirs I have used and depend on for years. The only thing that would make it beyond perfect is if it was designed as a pan that came apart so you could cool faster, and have more ease in removing a cake you do not want to invert. My old pan is that way, but I think some where along the line those styles were deleted. Spring form pans came into being and straight edged tube pans have not appeared as a spring form pan."..."  Read more
