Solution-Dyed 100% Acrylic

  • This fabric type is commonly used for awnings and umbrellas, but has now been adapted for use on pillows and cushions.
  • Acrylic threads are dyed before they're woven.
  • This fabric holds up extremely well under the sun and doesn't fade easily, and it efficiently repels water to prevent any major water damage.

Determine how much sun exposure your furniture or accent piece will receive, and if it will be sitting in a sunny part of your yard or a relatively shady spot. Then you'll have a better idea of how durable you need the fabric to be.
