LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these chairs. Not only are they comfortable, but I love all the colors they come in....they really brighten up my upper deck. I live right on the beach and everything rusts and the sun and the salt wear down all my metal and wood products. But these Polywood products have not faded, have not shown any signs of rust where the screws are located and are perfect for my roof deck. I got the folding chair so that I can easily move them when the wind starts to blow. We have a Hurricane warning where I live right now and there was no issue with getting these chairs moved off the deck....yet they are solid and I have no concerns leaving them on the upper deck in most weather. I highly recommend these chairs. They will not disappoint you! I like this Polywood product so much that I have also ordered a dining set and am removing my aluminum table and chairs off the deck and replacing all my patio furniture with Polywood.
Quality chair, but better for taller person

Regarding assembly, these chairs were fairly easy to put together. We did not have to obtain additional parts, and used what was supplied along with the chair. They fold for easier storage, although these chairs are still big, even folded up. But, if you're a smaller or shorter person, you might not be able to touch the ground with your feet. I'm disappointed in that because I carefully used the measurements supplied in the product description, then compared them to the measurements that I have for some adirondack chairs I'm planning to replace with these and they were nearly identical. These chairs have a higher rise, especially where the back of the knee land, causing my feet to not touch the ground. I'm 5'2, so that should give you some idea of whether your feet might touch the ground. The chair is perfect for my tall husband, but I'm uncomfortable.

We looked forever for adirondack chairs to go around our fire pit. After seeing the price, as well as the other good reviews on this chair, we went ahead with them. We couldn't be happier! Assembly was easy for my husband and five year old son. They are attractive and comfortable as well as sturdy. The recycled plastic makes clean up a snap (which is crucial because our yard is heavily wooded so we get lots of tree debris as well as bird doo), and they fold up so storage will be easy. My husband really wanted real wood, but I like the low maintenance aspect of these, and even he is very happy with them.
Bright Blue comfort

I love these chairs! They are definitely a bright bright blue, but look great as accent pieces on my brown deck. They were very easy to put together and comfortable to sit in. Some other reviews mention a narrow seat, but I find that they are comparable to most adirondacks. I have only had them for a month or so, so I cannot comment on their ability to stand up to the elements. We live a few blocks from the ocean and most wood items don't make it very long past 1 year. I am confident these will do much better. And without fading!
Good Value !!!

I ordered two of these originally just to try them out. We think they are a good value, look nice and are comfortable. I believe that we will probably need small thin cushions eventually because you are sitting on the composite board. The assembly was easy. We ordered four more after using the first two for a couple of weeks.
Years and Years

These Adirondack chairs will last a lifetime and they are very expensive looking. They are very heavy but can be easily folded and stored away. We live in a Townhouse with limited space and these will store away beautifully without looking that way. I absolutely love these chairs. We bought the sand color and are very happy with it.
As I'd hoped...

I was searching for an all-weather Adirondack chair/ottoman for my yard. Not only was this the best price I found, it's well made/sturdy, and the red color is vibrant and saturated. It looks much less like a plastic product than some others do. It was easy to assemble, and I have high hopes for its longevity. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
Polywood Adirondack Chair
Robert from Poughkeepsie, NY– Verified Buyer
This chair is almost perfect for my needs; I needed a polywood (or similar material) chair that folded up for a Vermont vacation home. I would prefer a little more 'lean back' to the chair, but you can't have everything; my wife thought it was perfect. We'll be ordering two more for a complete set of four as soon as budget allows.

I ordered the merlot and they look so nice and fold up easy for storage. My back yard has direct sun & rain so I was looking for a chair that would last if I left it out. I am going to order 2 more they are so nice. They are deep so it can be hard to get up if your older.

This is a great chair. Very good quality. I got the black and it is really nice looking. They are really heavy but you can still fold them up and store them in the winter months. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because they feel a little small as far as the leg length. They aren't that comfortable for a long period of time. Maybe the extra large Phat Tommy would be a little more comfortable.
