Will keep and display. However, the rack came in with top of one side non-glued. The pegs were of very soft wood and somewhat shredded. I re-gluded and finished to assembly. Looks nice but somewhat medium quality.

I spent much time and energy shopping for just the right rack for my beautiful Amish Quilt. The Butler Rack was the best I found for my budget, the quality and especially the sale and free shipping. The only part I didn't like was that the Butler Rack like many others found were too narrow. This requires folding the quilt just a little too much. I would still buy this one again because of the qualities that I do like.

I have now had this rack for more than a month. Because of the straightforward directions in the packing box, it was easy to assemble. Each night I use it to hold a heavy matelasse queen size bedspread. Not only is the rack sturdy enough to support the spread, but the rack has a wide enough stance that I have no concern it will tip over. It is a quality product which is attractive to look at and does its job well.
