Beautiful but flawed
Vic from NJ
We shopped around for months looking for the perfect TV stand to hold all our components, and finally chose this one. Overall we are more or less satisfied, it looks great in our living room. It's holds all our kit without being cramped and the wiring is all tidy and organised. It is really solid, stylish and looks expensive... until you get close up. The veneer is paper thin, just sliding our DVD player into it scratched the veneer off down to the wood. [...]other than the veneer it's really beautiful.
Perfect for 46 inch flat screen tv

This item is so difficult to put together!!! The wood is extremely heavy and using the dowels w/the locking bolts is ridiculous!!! Definalty need two people to put this together. I am hoping once i finally get it together that it will be stable but right now i am waiting for someone to come help me finish putting it together. The wood quality is beautiful its just the assembly process is very difficult!!! Keep this in mind if you are a single woman!
Sturdy, but not perfect

This stand is nice and sturdy, and is a nice fit for my 50 inch plasma. It took about 4 hours to assemble, mostly because it is very difficult to get all of pieces aligned. The small wooden dowels must be perfectly straight, and of course this is not possible. So the front doors are slightly out of alignment, but not enough that anyone would notice. Another complaint are the small holes in the back. They are ok for cables, but not enough ventilation for electronics. I'll eventually cut out a larger hole and maybe install a fan, but until then I have to leave the front door open most of the time to keep everything from overheating.

Once unpacked, product had a few minor scratches and a good sized chip off one leg. Nothing enough to bother with the trouble of repackaging and shipping back to receive a replacement, but a disappointment that product was slightly damaged to begin with.
Looks good, but too many damaged parts

The piece looks very good. It is very sturdy, and the components look great behind the glass door.
