I am very pleased with this computer desk...that is, now that it is assembled. It was certainly a project that required patience and concentration. It took my boyfriend and I about 4.5 hours, and we have a good deal of experience with these things. There are many steps and the pieces are rather heavy. It is imperative that you do this with a partner and in a large open space. To be clear, these aren't complaints, since I knew what to expect, I just want to let others know what it entails.

Desk/hutch looks good! but it took me 4 hours to construct it! The hinges to the door did not function properly, and when I called for assistance, the operator said she would send me another via post office, and that I should get it in about 5-7 days... I had all the thousands of pieces and hardware laid out all over the kitchen (organized for easy assembly, of course...) What was I going to do - leave it all there for 5 - 7 days? Pack it all up and start over ( about an hour's time)?
Very nice desk, holding together so far

My desk looks great. I read the reviews and saw it would be a difficult job for just one person, so I saved myself a lot of pain and frustration and hired the assembly team -- and that was an ordeal, but this is a review for the desk and not the assembly team...I'll just say it took a few tries to make an appointment, and do be sure to carefully examine the hinges and corners to make sure no screws are missing. One corner of my drawer isn't fastened together, and when I took it in to a hardware store to see if I could get the right screw, the employee there was pretty scornful of the drawer material -- cheap plywood, he said.
Looks good, sturdy, but scratches easily.

Very heavy box, had to open up downstairs and carry it upstairs piece by piece. Took me about 3-4 hours to put others with occasional help at a few critical assembly points. It is a nice size desk for my 12 year old son to sit and do homework with a laptop. There is enough desk space to have a lamp, computer and still open a book and take notes on paper.

This desk is very good value for price. I looked at other websites & it was much more expensive. It is exactly what I expected from the description on the websites. Was purchased for college students apartment. It is a wonderful desk for a college students needs. Has room for printer, books, etc. I wasn't blindsided by the assembly because of the reviews I read. I actually found the assembly to be maybe tedious but not complicated if you just follow the instructions given. Would definitely recommend this product.

This desk is the ultimate, especially for the price. It is spacious, sturdy, with a rich looking finish. It's a product I bought from Wayfair that will last me many many years.
Lots of assably time but looks nice

I read other reviews before getting this desk so I knew it was going to be a project to put together. I worked on it little by little at night for 3 days by myself. It came in a very heavy box, none of this desk is real wood. It is a nice desk; not super large but good space for my laptop and an open book. I use the pull out tray for writing and my mouse. It is a very dark brown/black. (Not espresso) It looks good with my other black furniture.

A beautiful desk and a great value. Relatively easy to assemble. My only concern, really, is for how long the desktop itself will stand up to frequent use. It doesn't take much to scratch or scuffs dark stained wood. So far, so good, but I don't foresee its pristine state lasting long in a house with three boys under the age of 8. ;)

I work from home and needed a large desk to fit two screens a large book and paper to write on... This desk did the trick! It looks nice, and the quality is as expected for the low price. It took a while to put together, but the end product looks nice. Would recommend, unless you're looking for high quality wood.
Nice looking, compact system.

I chose this cute little desk when giving up my home office space for a nursery! This piece fits great in the extra space in my living room. The compact size keeps me efficient and organized. It has been a great solution for me and the dark chocolate color along with architectural details fits into our living space nicely. I like the side compartment to store the computer, especially the details in the door, however, we plan to put some holes in the back so some air can escape...gets a little warm in there, otherwise it has worked great for my needs.
