Bush Industries Desks

This product is exactly what I was looking for. My other 2 desks just didn't cut it; my first one was two small and my second one was poor quality.THIS DESK. Is sturdy, fits right into my corner, AND IS VERY CHEAPLY PRICE ON Wayfair. I did not have much money when I bought this and I originally found it on Wayfair for cheap. Well I went to see if I could find it cheaper anywhere else and the answer is NO! [...] At Wayfair you get the lowest price.Back to the desk, if I ever where to get another desk it would be from Bush Furniture because they have left a very good impression on me. I will show you how nicely it fits into the corner I needed with a picture I have attached below.Also some tips. Take the assembly slow and look at the instructions closely. You have some glue you have to use. Honestly because of the way it is assembled the glue is not required but I did it anyway to guarantee my warranty and insure that it would be sturdy. This is a great looking desk with the typical problems. Assembly was moderate and took about 1 1/2 hours. The assembly instructions were hard to understand, like most put it together desks, at times and the diagrams were not clearly draw. Most of the assembly is screwing philips head screws into partical board construction. Like most desks, some of the screws stripped when installing so make sure you have plenty of Elmers Glue on hand to put intot he holes as you put it together. Another drawback is that the desk dosen't fit against either wall. If you are putting the desk on a wall that has baseboard molding on it, the desktop will be about 3/4" away from the wall. I believe that most desks are like this. It would be better if the desk top had a 1" over hang on the back and side so pencils and papers couldn't fall of the desk. I searched everywhere for almost a year(even with Bush Furniture) until I finally found the corner desk that I envisioned. I needed a corner desk for my computer in a small spare bedroom but wanted the look of furniture as well as the luxury of function. I love this computer desk!!!! The quality of the cherry wood is outstanding(extremely heavy) and there is a pull out drawer for keyboard and mouse. I have space for the printer, drawers for paper and supplies as well as a file drawer. The hard drive is hidden by a beautiful glass door. The only downside is to give yourself plenty of time and patience to assemble. My friend helped me and it did take 4 hours. It was not difficult--the instructions and help desk are excellent--but it was time consuming. Delivery of desk was quick--well packed and everything was in the box!!! This desk is a good purchase for the price. Being a student, I didn't have a ton of money to spend. But, I am pleased with this product. It is relatively sturdy, easy to assemble and looks good. The dimensions are also perfect; Not too big and not too small. However, if you are around 6' feet tall, you may want to consider a different desk because the leg room is severely hindered by the built in book shelf. When assembling, you should take your time and ensure that everything is in the proper place, especially when attaching the piece on the back side that holds the desk together because this piece is the most important part of the assembly. If you fail to attach this piece properly, the desk will be flimsy. When I was assembling the desk, I broke a screw off in the threading of one of the drawer handles. [...]The only other slight problem I had with this desk was with the cabinet. The door itself did not line perfectly. But this is not really noticeable to the naked eye and the door still functions properly.All in all this desk is very functional, pretty sturdy, and has good design. The dimensions are perfect and overall assembly is not difficult. I put the desk together by myself, but having someone else around to assist on occasion would be a plus.
