overall this bed is great. [...]it was not bad to assemble though some parts like setting up the upper and lower tent had no instructions and we had to figure it out. the bed overall is very durable but the bed has 4 legs that are very long which support it and no horizontal supports. i hope it doesn't ever fall but it could. when the guys moved the bed against the wall, one leg bent. we fixed it but that's when i got concerned.my 4 and 2 year old love it and it's been well used so far, but i won't let older kids get on it for safety's sake. my 4 yo loves his bed and sleeps SO well there. my 2 yo naps there and sleeps in his crib at night. we love how fun and cute it is.oh and the plastic part for the slide was too short and the velcro for the lower tent fell off. This bed makes our son's room a fun play destination. He can't wait to have friends come over and play. Loft design is space saving; all floor space is available for play/toys. Recommend with castle themed Wallies wall paper stickers (Google it). Excellent quality, w/ sturdy construction and smooth wood. We are thrilled. Really liked this bed for its design and expansion capabilities. It's solid wood and once properly constructed -- very sturdy, but the extension legs must be assembled with care! We had some issues getting everything just perfect and the manufacturer fedex'd out some parts overnight to help us with an issue.
