I feel this is a strong purchase for not just a child but for life. It is truly built to last which is what I was shopping for. I spent 3 days shopping and wanted quality at a good price. I found for fake wood I can spend the same amount that is awful!!! But like I said with time I found quality. This like I said is timeless I feel if you can be creative...I feel it can follow my child to college the drawers change out to be plain...and I can fill the butterflies in with stain glass to make it look more grown for her...then it really can last a lifetime. The customer service was great because the only problem was with set up the drawers have to come out to do a step and they are tricky to get out but I called and it was super friendly and fast. It was a little bumpy ordering the product with the rep I will say I was nervous I have never purchased from them before and my credit card protection and we just moved so I had to call back after I called my bank and the rep would not honor the rate I was promised and was very rude and refused to get his manager I just hung up and got another rep to get me a manger and it was cared for. Every company has a problem child so I let it go the manager honored the rate I had everything written down and a promo code so it was put thru just fine. The delivery was great. We took it off the truck ourselves driver was friendly. I have since ordered more stuff from Wayfair now that the bed went thru just perfect."..."  Read more

My 11 year old daughter loves this bed. The bottom bed is on small casters, so it rolls out for easy bed making. Of course the top bunk is always a pain no matter what kind you buy! It's sturdy, the desk is a nice feature. It gives the bedroom plenty of extra space since her room is rather small. The corners of the desk are a little sharp, add a rubber corner piece to avoid cutting your leg getting in and out. It's the only flaw I've found with the bed. Was a bit time consuming to assemble, but well worth the money. If the mattresses come free with it that are the Super Sleep Smooth Top Twin Innerspring Mattresses, be prepared to buy new ones. These are basically springs covered in cloth. I didn't expect them to be high quality since they came free with our bed as a promotion, but they are truly AWEFUL!!! Just buy the bed, get a couple of new mattresses from your local store and you'll be very happy with this setup."..."  Read more

I bought this bed for my 5 yr old, and plan on my 2 1/2 yr old moving into the same room. This bed is absolutely beautiful. Everyone that sees it admires it. It has storage galore. The drawers built into the stairs are so handy and large, and the stairs are very safe, with grip treads on them. The huge drawer underneath the bottom bed is awesome, too. I love all the curved edges- no walking into sharp corners at night or when the kids are playing. There is a very nice reading light above the bottom bunk and the desk. You do have to have a large space for this bed, and plan where you will plug in the lights (do it before fully assembled), but it is well worth it. My husband and I were really impressed with the quality and attention to detail on the desk and bookcase; however, they seemed to forget to carry that attention to the top bed. It's stable and safe, but the quality of the pieces weren't as good, the bottom of the boards aren't finished so if you are in the bottom bed or under the top bed you can see unfinished wood, and they didn't provide cap covers for large screws which they had provided for the base pieces. Overall, it's still a great deal. Very nice looking piece. We got it for our 10 years old son and instead of getting the twin bottom bed we set it up as a personal hang-out area for him.
