Building Sets

I got the set with 80 blocks of all shapes, sizes and colors. With 5 boys (and a girl), I have to be very careful with toys that could possibly be tossed or thrown at siblings (or windows)! These blocks are made of soft foam and are not only perfect for building on the floor, they are also wonderful for the bathtub! I used a gift certificate to purchase this as a gift for my 21 month old to play with. I really liked the size of the blocks and the little plastic box that came with it was the perfect size for little kids to carry. The box also had a little handle on top to make it easier to carry. Part of the reason I liked this set was that they are the perfect size for little kids, soft and very light (when they get thrown no one will get hurt) and also they will be great for the bath. This is a wonderfully imaginative and safe product. They look like real blocks but are light and easy to build with. The set for children under three is awfully expensive. Not sure why it costs so much more than the same type of set for children over three."..."  Read more

In general we prefer wood toys over other materials,but like this one because we don't have to watch her playing with it. We bought this Set and the one that looks like wood, because our toddler daughter likes to throw things once in a while. These blocks are nice to play with, safe and stack up easily for little fingers. And don't do harm to anything, including our floor low windows!"..."  Read more
