Building Sets

My students enjoyed building and testing different amusement rides than can be built with this set. We were able to introduce physics concepts in a fun and meaningful way. Only drawback is that it really takes multiple sets to have enough for all students. I tried using multiple stations, but there weren't enough parts to make more than two items at the same time. I got the Lego Duplo building plates 2 pack for my 2 year old's birthday. Between him and my 4 year old, they have loved having these plates which provide more building room for their Duplos. These plates have enabled greater exploration and coordination in my boys and I'm so glad we have them. My only concern is that they bend easily and feel a little flimsy. I don't know how easily these break but I'm assuming only time will tell with my 2 boys playing with these plates daily."..."  Read more

Excellent product, kept my son totally immersed in building for long periods of time (unusual for him). The notes are good for teaching in class but not for a 10-year old. It would be good to include a 2-3 page summary of main bridge types (with pictures) as well as of main building elements in bridge structure (arc, triangles, etc) I recommend it to anyone interested in hands on fun (combined with actual learning)."..."  Read more
