I purchased the talmadge buffet & hutch as well as wildon home 54" round dining table in walnut it all arrived within 2 weeks. It came very safely wrapped in Styrofoam & cardboard. The hutch has a light in it which was not mentioned in the description, a great surprise. I am extremely pleased with my purchase & would definitely order from here again. I did not pay for shipping. This buffet & hutch combo is even nicer when seen in person. It is of very good quality & craftsmanship; it is very easy to assemble, every piece being clearly marked and identified in the instructions. The only gripe I have about this product is with the glass in the hutch's two doors... or should I say, "plastic". It's probably plexi-glass but it actually looks and feels more like cheap old plain plastic. Potential buyers should be careful when cleaning these as they mark & even scratch quite easily. I used Windex with paper towel and wiped gently but I still managed to create a few non-removable streaks, smears and light scratches. All in all though, I am extremely satisfied with the product and I would highly recommend it to anyone desperately looking for black/glass/stainless steel buffets and/or hutches, as I surely was!"..."  Read more

Pros: We really love this hutch and it looks great with our decor. Perfect for those smaller areas like an apartment. [...] We have no regrets with choosing this hutch.Cons: 1)Received in shipment one side of cabinet that wasn't assembled correctly from the factory. It was missing some little plastic like pieces that were supposed to be factory installed in the screw holes. Called for a replacement piece and received it [...]. The replacement part had some minor damage on one corner but decided to use it because it wouldn't show with the location we would be using it and like I mentioned, it is very minor. We put some wood glue on the damaged part, clamping it until it dried so I believe the integrity of the cabinet is good. 2) We ordered the natural wood top but the stainless steel top was shipped. Decided to keep the stainless steel top instead of asking for a replacement. It's a very attractive look and once assembled we've decided we're glad we've got the stainless steel top! 3)The one other problem is that one door is not fitting correctly when closing. It has to be slightly lifted in order to close the door flush. I think this can be remedied by repositioning the hinge. Once the door is closed it looks perfect and it isn't difficult to close! Summary: There are a lot of pieces and parts to be assembled. I suggest before beginning assembly to check off all parts on the parts lists that is included with the assembly directions.The problems we experienced are not major and I WOULD recommend this hutch to anyone who is looking for a quality hutch for a reasonable price. It's quite sturdy and heavy once assembled and it is serving us well. I would definitely buy from Wayfair. [...]Don't be afraid to order this hutch from Wayfair. Some product problems are a possibility with any mail order and the key to satisfication lies largely in how those problems are handled. This buffet/hutch combo is absolutely beautiful! We have it set up at the entrance into the dining room, and love that you can display (and illuminate) some things behind the glass door of the hutch while storing away other items that you don't want others to see in the bottom buffet. The quality is great and the craftsmanship is awesome. The glass is beautifully distorted like you would see on many antique furniture pieces, but still allows your treasured china items to be fully featured. The shelves in the hutch are wood frame with glass inserts to allow the light to shine through them, so loading up the shelves fully is not a good idea. We reinforced the shelves with a couple of screws from the back just so they don't bend under the weight of the displayed items. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the color of the cherry wood is a bit darker than it appears in the pictures, but it still matched our cherry wood dining room nicely.[...]The only surprising thing and a bit of dismay for us was finding out that the furniture is made in China.
