Product Care: Broyhill applies a multi-step finish on all of our wood furniture to enhance the beauty of the wood’s surface. This finishing process uses lacquer-based products that are subject to damage by moisture, heat, or contact with alcohol-based and oil-based products. Take care of the multi-step finish Broyhill gives each piece and you’ll preserve the inherent beauty of your fine furniture Protect your furniture.Never allow water or damp items to sit on your furniture including cleaning cloths, sponges, etc.Never allow alcohol-based products including some cleaners, nail polish and perfumes to come in contact with your wood furniture. They can dissolve the furniture finish on contact, requiring professional repairs.Do not allow plastic, including plastic or rubber placemats or rubberized feet on appliances, to come in direct contact with your furniture. Chemicals in the plastic may soften and injure the finish if exposed over a long period of time.Avoid placing hot objects on any furniture surface. Always use a protective pad or plate. Laminated surfaces on tabletops provide added scratch and heat resistance for our furniture, but they can still be damaged without proper care.Avoid direct sunlight, heat outlets, open windows, and dampness. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade the finish of your furniture, while extreme temperature and humidity changes can cause cracking or splitting.Dust frequently with a clean, damp lint-free cloth to remove abrasive buildup which can damage the finish over time.Occasionally polish with a high-quality non-silicone furniture polish every few months to enhance the beauty of the multi-step finish. Spray the polish onto a clean cotton cloth, apply it to the furniture, and then buff with a second clean, dry cotton cloth. Note that any polish may make a low sheen finish appear more glossy. Avoid oily polishes and waxes.Remove sticky accumulations of skin oils to avoid professional repairs. Wipe the area with a clean cotton cloth dampened with mineral spirits, then buff with a second clean cotton cloth.Touch up small marks and scratches with a marker, scratch remover, or touch-up stick. These can be purchased at any paint storeCountry of Manufacture: China

About the Manufacturer

Thomas H. (T.H.) Broyhill made his initial investment in furniture manufacturing in 1905 in Lenoir, North Carolina. In 1919, T.H. Broyhill became the majority owner of Lenoir Furniture Corporation, manufacturing bedroom and dining room furniture. As early as 1924, Broyhill began marketing its products at the new American Furniture Mart in Chicago. This commitment to aggressive sales and marketing laid the groundwork for the company's nationwide recognition as a leader in the industry. Broyhill Furniture continued to grow through the early years of the 20th century. In 1926, James Edgar (J.E.) Broyhill, T.H. Broyhill's brother, established Lenoir Chair Company. This expanded the company's product line into upholstery. Through the Depression and World War II Broyhill Furniture grew as a result of astute and bold investments in physical facilities, skilled employees and dedicated management. By the 1970s, Broyhill Furniture Industries, Inc. had pioneered the use of assembly line techniques and had become one of the largest and most respected state-of-the-art furniture manufacturing companies in the industry. Interco Inc., a diversified holding company with a stable of consumer goods manufacturers, acquired Broyhill in 1980. Today, Broyhill is part of Furniture Brands International, the world's largest manufacturer of residential furniture and the parent company of Lane®, Thomasville®, Henredon®, Drexel Heritage® and Maitland-Smith®. Broyhill's extensive product line includes both residential and contract divisions, manufacturing bedroom, dining room, occasional tables, wall systems home entertainment, home office and numerous upholstered furniture categories. Growing, changing, innovating. Those are the qualities that have distinguished Broyhill as America's preferred furniture maker. Rooted in a rich history and grounded in the belief that quality and value never go out of style, Broyhill Furniture is a company that continues to lead the industry in products and services for today's home furnishings retailers and consumers.

Style

The Attic Chairside Table is a Rustic style product. Rustic style uses a warm nature-inspired color palette: whites, browns, blacks, grays, and tans. Hints of green, orange, and red can be found as accent colors. Incorporating natural materials, such as wood, stone, leather, sisal, wool, clay, and various metal finishes, throughout the decor, is the key element to Rustic style. Contrasting textures and patterns are also used in this style. You can shop for more Rustic End Tables in the Furniture section of our site.
