The vanity arrived in perfect condition. The granite top has flecks of gray that you can’t see in Wayfair’s pics, so it is not a true black, but that is actually a great thing for us. We LOVE our new vanity! It is exactly as pictured and did not disappoint once we could finally get it. We waited too long to order and then had to wait for it to be available again. A few technical things that I hope will be helpful to others... The sink and counter are special! Beautiful and present very upscale. You do not need a backsplash with this vanity - stop worrying. The depth of the sink make it not needed. Who would splash that much to worry?? We were concerned that the vanity being removed did not have a continuous baseboard behind it but the metal frame base of this vanity makes a baseboard behind it not needed. Without one, it sits flush as it is intended. We had a handyman trim the existing baseboard so it could be positioned in a way that the right side would clear the doorframe molding on the right side. The biggest concern we had, and so did our plumber, is if the existing plumbing trap would fit within the cabinet or we would have had to spend more money to raise it higher OR cut our beautiful new vanity to get it to fit - PHEW, it fit perfectly without a 1/4 inch to spare!! It got delivered by Wayfair delivery instead of contracting out to Fedex, etc, so they were careful carrying the box, which was nice. It was packaged pretty well. There is a crack around the back leg, and even though I think it's only in the blue lacquer covering and not all the way through the leg, it's fairly obvious and the quality control sticker placed right above it is pretty ironic. I'm going to live with it because it's the back leg so hopefully no one will notice when it's installed. There is a weird crack behind the front wingpiece (where the leg is wider than the body-behind there), and again it doesn't look like it will cause a problem, but come on, quality control. it's obviously weird looking, but again on the back so I doubt anyone will notice but me. The slats are nice, the cabinet is nice, and the back is removable (screwed on) in case the precut hole doesn't work with your plumbing. This may be on me, but when the description said quartz top, I assumed it was solid white and the pictures were a little shadowy; there is definite grey veining in the countertop, like fake marble. Not a deal breaker, but I expected it to be white, and a more clear description and/or higher contrast product photos would have helped ahead of time. For those wondering, the sink does have an overflow drain on the inside front. They didn't specify in the description. The cracked leg makes this a 4 star-but otherwise it's pretty solid.. Kimberly.
