Hi Lisa, This is a great car seat. I have contacted the warehouse and found that all of the Britax car seats that we have in stock were manufactured in 2010 and 2011. After further review we have found that these chairs are said not to expire for up to 6 years.

My son is growing pretty quickly and out grew his bucket seat. I just installed this car seat this weekend and it's great. Really easy to install, it has plenty of room to grow, and it's easy to clean.

Got a great product at a great price

My son seems comfortable riding in this seat. It sits up so he can look out of the back window of my husbands truck. It is easy to install, looks nice, and is sturdy. Id buy another one when the time comes. It came highly recommended from a carseat enthusiast friend of mine for its safety rating.

Wonderful seat

This seat fits very well in the back of my husbands F150. We were looking for a seat compact enough that would allow him to still move his seat back comfortably. I love the amount of space my son has in the seat, and I know that it will last him for a long time to come.

I can't say enough great things about this seat! It is easy to install. It's a great size for my 28 lb son who is 19 months old. I absolutely love this seat! He is so comfortable in it. I wanted something that he would not outgrow before he was ready for a booster and this is it!

Fantastic car seat

I have a 20 lb. 6 month old that outgrew her infant carrier. This Britax convertable seat is great for her! It is very sturdy, easy to buckle and easy to install. The negatives are as follows: 1) I have a Ford Escape and needed a wedge to get it to seat at the right angle in the rear facing position. In addition, in my car, when the seat is installed rear facing you can't recline the front seat or move it back very far. 2) These new models include an anchor strap that is supposed to be attached to the back top of the seat and then to the floor...even in the rear facing position. My car does not have a place to hook it and the alternate installation they recommend makes it impossible to get the baby in and out of the seat. 3) My husband's car does not have the latch system and it is nearly impossible to install this in his car. It is a GREAT seat though. The cover comes off very easily when you want to wash it. If you need to turn the seat around often so you can use it for an older toddler it is REALLY easy to convert. As long as you have a bigger vehicle or van made after 2002, you will love this seat.

Good Car Seat

A little difficult to install, but overall a good seat. Our daughter is still rear-facing and it's a bit tight getting her in and out of our car, but I think that as soon as we can turn her around the problem will be resolved. Overall we're very happy and felt we got a good deal on the car seat.

We moved from the infant carrier to this and have been completely pleased. So pleased, in fact, we bought a second one 13 months later when son #2 arrived. The quality of the covers are outstanding and wash beautifully. They still look new after 4.5 years.
