great Bought this car seat for my 2 & 3 year old grand kids. They love sitting in the seat with the cup holders. So easy to get them strapped in & ready to go in seconds. Safety is a big factor in buying Britax. This is the second Britax we have purchased. The first was a gift when my granddaughter was born. |

Just about perfect I love this seat so much I bought 2. I was going to buy a cheaper seat for my husband's car, but no other seemed to measure up.I initially bought a Graco Nautilus but could not deal with my child's head slumping over in a very uncomfortable-looking position whenever he fell asleep on long rides. So that got passed on to grandma for her car. I then bought the Frontier for my then 3 year old last year and am very pleased with it. Super easy to install, especially with latch and easy to adjust the harness height & straps.Lots of room still to grow for my 4 year old. I like that it has the option to become a booster later on. The seat is very upright and very easy for my child to get in and out of. It is still very comfortable for sleeping. No head slump like in the Nauti. The headwings are just big enough to prevent this without being annoying. Cupholders and arm rests are great features. I have the Rushmore (blackgray) and the Maui (blueblack) prints. The Maui is a softer, mesh-y type fabric that absorbs liquid faster, and stains more easily, I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time, so it is our secondary seat. The Rushmore is a slicker material and seems more water-repellant and stain-resistant. It still looks new, and my child has used it almost daily for over a year & often has drinks and snacks in the car (and it not neat). The Maui is probably more breathable, but I've never had any issue with either seat feeling too cold or too hot even in extreme weather. I contemplated ordering a Frontier 90 before I bought the Maui 85 but decided against it. The features of the 90 sound good on paper, but I've learned that buying a first generation product will often lead to dealing with kinks that haven't been worked out yet. And Britax seems to constantly come out with new & improved versions of their carseats. From the reviews I've read, the 90 seems to have some issues I would not want (harness strap adjuster is much harder to reach for one). I am happy I bought another 85 instead of the 90, and would recommend this seat to anyone as the best forward-facing carseat. |

One of the best out there I love the Britax Frontier. If you have a tall kiddo, that you want in a 5 point harness for as long as possible, this seat is for you. |

Two cup holders My granddaughter loves the cup holders. Her mother got her a booster with only one cup holder, and she was non-plussed. Also safe and sturdy. |

Great toddler seat! I bought this seat for my 2 year old and it is installed in my 2013 Pruis. The size of the seat is perfect for this car. My daughter is very comfortable and has plenty of leg room, even with an adult in the passenger seat. The seat was easy to install and it does not move! The material is soft (I bought the Onyx) and breathes. I haven't needed to clean it yet. The cup holders are great because they don't add to the width of the seat and they are easy for a toddler to reach. Great seat, great value as it will be the last seat we need to buy! |

Satisfied This is a combination seat- a forward facing harnessed seat that will convert to a booster. This seat is really ideal for children close to 4 years of age or older, as riding rearfacing in a convertible car seat for as long as possible (ideally until 4 years old) is THE safest. It is important to know that all harnessed child seats have to pass the exact same safety standards, so a proper install and proper usage are what make a seat 'safest', not a brand. This seat is great for very tall children as it has the highest harness height currently on the market. This seat will harness the average child at least until 7 years old. Once in booster mode (typically, children are not ready for a booster seat until 5.5-6 years old.... it is based on maturity, not outgrowing a car seat or convenience) this seat provide proper belt fit on a majority of children. Since this is a long lasting seat, it is large. It is not as heavy as it would appear because it has a hollow plastic shell. It is wide and can cause some problems installing next to another seat. The installation can range from easy to down right impossible depending on the vehicle and westing position. This seat will not fit in the Center backseat of our truck Bc of it's size, 80 of it does not fit on the seat, but it installed with the short belt path outboard fairly easy. This seat it incompatible with the Center backseat in my crossover suv. It fits on the seat just fine, but Bc of the awkward shape and bulkiness of this seat, after 1 hour and trying long belt path and short belt path and all the installation tricks that I know, it proved impossible. Lower LATCH anchors were not an option as my child is 40lbs and LATCH has limits and they are now past them so I must seat belt install this in my vehicles. AlWAYS connect the top tether. The 'versa tether ' is a little more finicky to adjust, you just have to mess around with the 'V'. The HUGS. (The rubbery harness straps) are required to be on and bother my child. They do provide some resistance if you have a child that moves their chest clip. |

Great Car Seat! Purchased this for my two year old and was a little wary because it was listed as possibly having some wear. When I received this seat it was brand new in the manufacuturer packaging and the seat was perfect! I also have a similar seat made by saftey first and the Britax is so much easier to buckle and adjust in my opinion. Great seat for a great price - I do not regret this purchase in the least! |

Excellent product Other than the fact that its really heavy, this is an excellent carseat! Its good looking, and gives my guys plenty of room to grow. I expect they will be able to be in this carseat for at least 3 years. |
