This is a great bag for any lady -- but especially for petite ladies whose frames would be overwhelmed by the large bags that are so popular these days. It is a classy, well-made leather bag that is a muted enough shade of red to be a true neutral that you can carry to an interview or work in even the most conservative work places. I love that the handles are retractable and can be lowered in the event that you want to use the shoulder strap. Its the little details like these that make me so happy with this purchase! The only downside about the bag is that it is indeed a mini briefcase. Itd be fine for carrying a small stack of papersfolders back and forth, but this is simply not the kind of bag thats made for heavy lifting -- so dont get this if you want to transport of your binder, your water bottle, your umbrella, your make-up bag, a change of shoes, and the rest of your life in it! Even a purse might be too much (given that the bag will only expand so far). What WOULD work though is exactly what Ive been wanting -- a small clutch that holds my keys, subway pass, credit cards, etc. that can disappear inside in a stylish, professional, and unique bag.
