Bought this bread machine because the one I owned before stopped working after only 2 years (different brand of machine). So I searched the internet for the top rated bread machine and this was it. I have used it twice to make pizza dough and twice to make bread. I have been very happy with it so far. The pizza dough was so easy to make and tasted great! The bread that I made was really good. The crust on the loaves was not so hard like it was in previous bread machine and the loaves come out much more like a real loaf of bread that you would buy, but tasting way better because they are fresh and home made. I have owned 4 Panasonic Bread makers in 30years of making bread. There is no other Bread Maker that produces consistently good Bread. I have tried other brands (some much more expensive) but have been dissappointed, the bread produced is no where near as good with those machines. I've been wanting to make bread but have no time for kneading, rising, etc. This machine had good reviews and I trust Cuisinart so I bought it. It arrived a few days ago and I already have made a Raisin Pumpernickle and Cinnamon Raisin breads. It's SO easy with the instruction/cookbook that comes with it - after adding ingredients you press a few buttons and everything is done for you from mixing, kneading, baking!! You can add nuts, raisins, choco chips, whatever you like when the signal goes off too. I like the light crust I did on the cinnamon bread, my other half likes the medium crust that I did on his pumpernickle. This machine will get ALOT of use in this house! Anyone can do it if you read the directions. I bought all the ingredients from the King Arthur Flour site so when the bread machine arrived I was ready to go! I rated this as 5 stars...it does get better, but not for this price! I opened this and started using it immediately. I've had it for about 3 weeks and have used it at least 5 times. The bread turns out wonderfully. No complaints at all. Because I am a novice bread maker my first two loaves were mixes. I have since ditched the mixes and just make the bread using basic ingredients. It has turned out wonderfully and my whole family is excited about this purchase! This machine has mutiple settings and a delay which is nice. Love waking up to some fresh bread and it smells soooo good! One setting is for Jam - kinda interested in giving that a whirl.
