Modus Bossa 5 Piece Counter Height Dining Set
Comfy but the legs are not even
Michael from Baltimore, MD– Verified Buyer
Assembly was not difficult. The chairs are very comfortable and they are a good height for our 34" counter. I ordered 4 chairs total and one of them was missing a hole in the back leg for the support bar to attach. They promptly handled this concern and sent me two new chairs when replacement parts for the broken one were unavailable. EXCELLENT SERVICE! Unfortunately, each chair wobbles because one or two of the legs are shorter than the rest. We now have assembled 5 of the 6 chairs and each wobbles about the diagonal axis of the legs. For someone like myself who isn't bothered by this, it was an easy fix with those felt chair leg bottom sticky things. For someone who is more particular about this sort of thing, these might not be the way to go. All in all, for the price, these chairs are great!
Good for the price

I ordered the white stools and think they look great. We are using 3 of the 4 right now and only one is a tiny bit wobbly but not that bad. My husband put them together quickly- I read people had trouble but I think it works out better if you don't read the directions! They haven't fallen apart yet ;o) They look really nice and are great for kids- easy to sit on and clean! One of the employees said they were an off-white color but to me they are closer to full white. I have off-white cabinets and would've liked a bit better match but it's not bad. Overall I'm glad we got them and the price was great!

I ordered two red color stools and really love the color, not too bright, but not a burgundy either. Like others have posted, the first one is the most difficult, but once you get the first one done, the others are easier. Received all the parts, and there was no wobble upon completion. Also ordered the matching chairs, and all had the same color legs--espresso, or a dark brown, not black. The chairs were much easier to assemble since they didn't have any lower rungs. A cordless driver makes assembly much easier than using a screwdriver and elbow grease!
Good quality for the money

Purchased these to replace two other vinyl bar stools I've had forever...the cover was beginning to peel. I found these to be a great option...they were the height I wanted and the color I wanted and I did not want leather (because of the cost). My husband put them together very quickly and in no time they were in my kitchen...looking great! I've had them for a few weeks and they are very comfortable to sit in. My only "issue" with them is that the back is curved so when I push them under the counter the back sticks out a bit; but my family loves the feel of the curve, I however like a straight back...just my individual preference.
comfortable, attractive stools

I spent a long time searching for stools to go with our new 36" high square kitchen table. we have two young boys and my 4 year old was falling off our old wooden, backless, 28" high stools,so wanted something with a back that would look nice, tuck under the table and make us more comfortable when we seat and eat (which is often in kitchen and not our dining room table). love these stools! it took me about an hour to put both together--directions weren't easy, but i was able to figure it out without too much effort. my husband and kids were impressed! these look very nice and more expensive.

At first I thought these would be short since they look short in the picture. We got the chairs in the mail and after painstakingly putting them together, they looked a lot different then in the pictures as far as the height goes! The first chair took me about 45 minutes to an hour to put together as I was a little confused on the instruction, but then I finally got the one done and then the second chair took me like 20 minutes. Other than it taking a little while to put together, these are great chairs!!!!

These bar stools were perfect for our new island. They are very wide and comfortable. I read a lot of reviews and several mentioned the difficulty in reading the directions and assembling the stools. I'm not sure if the directions have been updated, but my husband and I (neither of us are very "handy") assembled both stools in less than 45 minutes. The directions were very straightforward. The only reason it even took us that long was you have to use an allen wrench on almost all of the screws and it won't turn 360 degrees.

The bar stools are very comfortable and look great around the kitchen island. The directions to put them together was not easy to understand but after one was put together the others went pretty fast. One of the stools actually had a cracked leg, but Wayfair.com solved the problem immediately and I was shipped a new one within a couple days. This is the reason I love Wayfair.com their customer service is outstanding.

These chairs arrived almost overnight! Amazingly fast. I really like them. The seat is comfortable. I was worried it might cut into the back of our legs when we sat on them, but they do not. They were a bit tricky to put together, but only for me as I am not very good at following directions.. you are better off just putting them together without trying to follow the directions they send with the chairs. We also glued, and then screwed the pieces...seems like a better idea than just using the screws.I do not like the Wayfair as the edges are straight, so resting your bare feet on them hurts your feet.
not too shabby

After opening the package, I thought man, this is a big mistake. The quality of the wood was really cheap and the directions are beyond horrible, I had to laugh. After assembly, I was surprised at how sturdy the chairs were. We'll see in a few years how they hold up. They are pretty, adds a nice touch to our dark kitchen and dark floors. Word of advice, drill the wood screws first before tightening the bolts.
