GOOD COMFORT, FAIR QUALITY from Ottawa, ON on 06/05/2015 – Verified Buyer
Received my chair today. Easy to assemble (I used petroleum gel on the bolts before fitting the in). It does not have the terrible smell that has been so prevalent in all reviews, only a slight normal leather smell. The chair is well finished for its price in comparing to what I've seen out there now a day. The arms are well padded and very comfortable. The back and neck rest hugs well without pushing one forward. The seat is comfortable but a bit shallow front-to-back. I am 5'''3" and the back of my leg hugs the waterfall end of the seat. If I were taller I may find that it too shallow, but again, it is the "normal" depth of most chairs of this kind. Whether the material is genuine top-grain Italian leather as mentioned, I would have thought that it would have look somewhat softer. Since I assume it is illegal to make a false claim, I have to believe that there degrees of genuineness to the claim. Furthermore, the chair definitely does have a leather smell, so there is leather on the chair, it's just a bit stiff. But then it is made to last and for hi-usage. It remains that for the price, the comfort and the finish, the chair is well worth the purchase. The downside of this chair is the fact that in its upright position it is very upright (no backward slant) and the seat almost downward (at least so it feels). One must push backward with your feet so you don't feel like you're too forward. It has a sweet rocking motion, very pleasant. I purchased the KNEE-TILT mechanism for this chair. This was a BAD idea. First, the knee-tilt mechanism is supposed to lock the chair in an "infinite tilt" position, well, in fact, this knee-tilt ONLY locks the chair in the upright position, no where else on the slightest tilt. I had a knowledgeable friend look at it and confirm its working. Furthermore, by default of tilting and sliding, this system raises the seat height (and the whole chair) of 2" from its normal height. The normal seat height (according to the specifications on several websites) is said to be 18" to 22". With this knee-tilt, the seat height is 20" to 24" (the height of a bar stool at its highest position). At its lowest position (20") only my toes touch the ground (I am 5'3"). For me, this knee-tilt is not worth buying. 1) It is not locking as it should and it alters the height of the chair. In case someone thinks that the chair is not installed properly, I had it checked by a knowledgeable friend who also confirmed its installation. Another little note that is important to me, the left armrest screw holes were drilled in a slight upward slant causing this armrest to tilt outwardly by about 5%. It is visible if I face the chair. Because my office happen to be also my livingroom, then I care about these details. Someone who does not know may not notice. Ergonomically speaking, because I am petite, any little bit that cause the armrests to be apart prevents my elbows to rest as comfortably as it could. Would I buy this chair again? Without a knee-tilt and hopefully with a proper armrest installation, I would risk it again.

Just what I expected from san francisco, CA on 07/12/2015 – Verified Buyer
Being 5'2 there are not a lot of options for work chairs that I don't have to adjust. So if you want a solid, basic work chair that sort of wraps around you this one will do. I have to put height cushions in all my chairs so comfort for me is what I make of it. But with a simple pillow its the right height and back cushioning to get me through 12 hour days. Oh and I have a height box under my feet to even me out. Pros: easy to assemble, looks nice, adequate cushioning, I got what I expected. Cons: not idea for petite people.

Nice leather chair - good value from Cashmere, WA on 05/26/2015 – Verified Buyer
We aren't rocket scientists----took @1/2 hour to assemble chair. Chair has a solid feel. Nice appearance. It does seem to tilt slightly forward, but we are getting used to it now (probably noticeable because of the poor-posture chair we used before) Pros: Nice Appearance, Good Value Cons: None

Looks and geeks great! from Huntington, WV on 04/14/2013
This executive chair is a great looking chair. The Italian leather matches any business environment. The padding is a bit stiff at first, but that is because it is rated for intensive use (6-8 hours). It has a waterfall design that is supposed to help leg and back stress, but it took a few days to get used to the design. The chair has a slight lean and I haven't figured out what is causing the issue, but it is barely noticeable. This chair, along with matching client chairs makes my office look great and gives the professional look I desired when purchasing the chairs. Very pleased.
