love love love! from Ridgecrest, CA on 12/09/2015 – Verified Buyer
My family has been KitchenAid users for years (mom, sister, and sister-in-law all have one), but my best friend has a Bosch Universal Plus Kitchen Machine that she bought used at a yard sale and it is amazing! She totally converted me from wanting a KitchenAid.

The Best Mixer I Have Ever Owned! from Bethel Park, PA on 11/24/2013
If you are a bread maker like me this mixer makes a world of difference in the lightness and texture of the finished product. It can handle even the heaviest doughs, unlike my other brand name mixer. The only con with this mixer comes in making smaller batters such as a cake. I remedied this by purchasing the bowl scraper attachment. Well worth the extra $...

Great Mixer! from Riva, MD on 02/24/2011
We bought this to replace our Kitchenaid Professional 6 and have no regrets. The Bosch is a workhorse and can take on tasks which would practically kill the Kitchenaid. We went back and forth between buying the Bosch or the DLX and given all of the favorable reviews for both, we didn't think the DLX was worth $300 more than the Bosch. Everybody has their preferences between the models, which is fine; my preference is getting a solid machine at a reasonable price. We spent less and got a great machine that should last us many years. Wayfair had the lowest price around, hands down.

I enjoy making bread again from Ames, IA on 02/06/2011 – Verified Buyer
Universal Plus Kitchen Machine is all a mixer should be. I have been working up 12-14 lbs of dough with great success. The only thing you will need to be aware of is the kneading time will vary with the recipe you are using. The time in the booklet for their Whole wheat bread is not what I need for my mixed grain breads. So, stay close and test your bread to get a nice pull without tearing. It works best for my recipe at 4-5 minutes of mixing. I would not willing go back to any other mixer.

A Kitchen Work Horse and Great Investmen from Mesa, AZ on 02/20/2011 – Verified Buyer
I've owned a KitchenAid mixer for 7 years and while I still love it, I was looking for more for breadmaking. The Bosch is easy to use, not too heavy to pull in and out of the cabinet, and hard working. This makes great bread easy to make and is useful for so many other things. There are tons of available attachments, it's easy to clean, and will last for ever. Highly recommended!

Great for making bread from BC, Canada on 01/31/2011
I love it for making bread. I mixed up a batch of cookies but do not think the bread hooks work the best for that applications, probably need the cookie paddles.

The Bosch mixer is wonderful from Lakeland, Florida on 08/29/2010 – Verified Buyer
I had previously owned a Bosch mixer in the 80s and loved it. Making bread is so easy - from first mix to last rise in the pan, 45 minutes. Who could ask for anything easier. It was lost in a move in 1998 and it took me this long to get another one. Had a Kitchenaid in the meantime and hated it. This is convenient (adding ingredients is a snap) and fast. I'll never use anything else again.

Fantastic mixer from Alberta, Canada on 01/23/2011 – Verified Buyer
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother. Great cook and the stand mixer she used for many years had died a year ago. She bought what she believed was the best mixer on the market yet it could not do what her old Oster could do. The new Bosch we bought her does everything her old mixer did and more and is far superior to the one she had purchased. She could not be happier with it!
