Boraam Sumatra 29" Bar Stool in Brush Oak

Beautiful, well built, a perfect match for our red oak pub table.. Packaged securely plus easy assembly. Pleased with the comfort.

I was so disappointed when I received these bar stools because the finish was a very unnatural orange color. If you are trying to coordinate these with other woods in your home, I would advise against these. The style and durability was very nice, but I ended up having to return them (and pay for return shipping) because the color was not as advertised in the picture online.

This bar stool is a great product. They are pretty sturdy and well built. The 2 I ordered were easy to assemble.

I like very much these bar stools. They are very stable and sturdy and look exactly as the photo. I am so glad I bought them. If you like the color of the wood you can't be wrong.

I was impressed by the fact that this chair is made completely of solid wood, not pressed wood or veneer.

Ordered 4 stools Jan. 3 and received them on Jan. 5! Very pleased with quality. Assembled them by myself...68 year old female retired teacher...so anyone can do it! Have added Wayfair to my favorites!

At the outset let me say that I am not complaining about this product in any way. I am merely documenting my experiences with Wayfair and in particular the Boraam Sumatra 29 inch Bar stool. I had decided that I wanted these bar stools and when two of them showed up on clearance sale at Wayfair I placed an order for those two and if they were as good as I hoped I planned to order six more. The two arrived promptly and it was obvious that these had been shipped to someone else before me but that is what customer service had told me so I was not surprised. The first one went together easily and I was very pleased. When I took the second one out of the box I noted that it was not packaged as well as the first but appeared to be complete so I started the assembly. I soon discovered that the piece referred to as the apron in the instructions was cracked completely through and was unusable. I called Wayfair and they immediately agreed to refund my money for the broken stool and told me that since a broken stool was of no use to anyone I did not have to send it back. Since I wanted a total of eight barstools I went ahead and ordered seven more at that time. One of the seven stools came without the insert in the back piece that is needed for the supplied bolts to screw into. I think this is no problem because I have a spare stool for parts but it is not as simple as I thought. The first attempt was to simply remove an insert from the broken stool and put it in the hole that is missing an insert. That proves to be impossible with the tools that I have so I decide to just use the whole back from the broken stool in place of the one with the missing insert. This is when I learn that the parts of these stools are not completely interchangeable. As long as you assemble the stools from the parts that come in a single box everything goes together well but if you try to mix parts from more than one box the holes do not line up and it canâ™t be done. I was able, by selecting several parts from the broken stool as well as parts from the stool with the missing insert, to assemble one complete stool. The stools look great and they appear to be sturdy and well built. I am very satisfied with the results and the price was reasonable. All is well that ends well.

Sturdy, attractive, unique, smooth swivel, and delivered free and within 3 days. Normal assembly didrections. So much nicer than what I buy locally.

Just what we were looking for. I dont know why stools have to be so expensive. These stools work great and really look good as well.
