The Institute I work for operates an international scholars residence as well as a research library and bookstore. We publish many of our own books, often in large quantities, which we then store. We're a family of readers and needed to create an at home library. These bookcases have deep shelves, so we can double up some books. We had some difficulty getting them to line up flush with each other. They are very heavy bookcases, so have help available to move them into place and be sure to bracket them to the wall.
