Bookcases

This was bought as an under-window bookshelf to maximize room space and also match other furniture. Bull's eye on both counts. It's real wood, attractive and built to last (in the USA!), so the high quality is worth the extra $. And I did consider veneer/composite shelving, but there is no comparison. Because it is solid wood, it's a bit heavier but moves easily and stores large & weighty books or other objects. This bookcase seems to be real wood as advertised.It has a reddish-brown stain as pictured. It was also very easy to put together. I did it myself. All in all I am very satisfied with it."
