Needed this shelving piece to display American folk art pieces in our bedroom. It was unfinished, so we sprayed on a couple of coats of clear sealant. It looks good and meets our need. It is a unique bookshelf and it fit perfectly. The detail on the sides make the shelf quite attractive. I was missing a few of the pins that held up one of the shelves, but besides that it was easy to assemble. Also, please note, that the solid wood shelves are pieces of wood glued together. Great all wood bookcase. Assembly was a snap, especially after following another reviewers tip to predrill the holes where the screws attach the top and bottom shelves. I assembled it by myself in less than an hour. I'm going to order another one. I did not attach to the wall and the unit is sturdy and doesn't wobble."..."  Read more
