Great for strengthening the back.

Easy to adjust. Easy to use. Easy to assemble except for the foam rolls which are extremely difficult to get on but once they're on they stay on. Plus there aren't really any instructions. Just a page with a picture of how all the parts are supposed to go together. A little intuition is required. I've had only two other minor problems. They don't provide a weight clip so I've been using a small one from a set of dumbbells and it chips off the paint. (They do provide you with a bottle of paint). The second problem is a slight design flaw. The bar for the foot rest doesn't have a hole for the screw that's supposed to keep it in place. The screw just presses against the bar which means it gets loose after a while. Otherwise it's a great machine and I highly recommend it for anyone who is tired of doing sit-ups.

There place where you lock your feet in place needs to be longer. I am 5'9" and have the foot rest at the last, most extended setting. Anyone shorter than me would not be able to use it. You need to be able to lock your feet in place in order to use the machine. My wife, 5'3" can't even come close to reaching the foot rest. Even I wish i could move it one more inch.
