Blomus Liquo Soap Dish

I haven't encountered any of the issues from other comments about the silver plate lifting up - it does it's job fine as a soap dish and the round size compliments the round bar of soap I have.

Great product, goes will my decor very well. Tried very had to find a soap dish that actually drains. This fits the bill nicely.

After reading other comments was concerned about function. I really love the design of this piece so we made some accommodations. It is free standing on a white ceramic sink where I was concerned it would slide, particularly since the design is top heavy. I purchased a black 2" thin self adhesive rubberized disk (which keeps with the contemporary design) at a home improvement store to place on the bottom. It does not slide at all now. So far the center metal piece is staying in place too which was an issue with one customer. Belive it is important that you don't let the soap get so soppy wet that it sticks to the metal. Only concern I do have is how to clean inside below the metal piece other than soaking.

Isn't that what a good product is: Design and function that makes sense? This nice-sized soap holder will look good in almost any style bathroom. The removable stainless steel grid makes it easy to clean. I bought two.

I looked extensively for a well designed soap dish for our high-end residential client's bathrooms. Client specifically requested a 'drain' grid or something to keep soap from resting in water. Visual design of this dish is good BUT round stainless center drain piece sticks to soap and comes out of the dish attached to soap when used. NOT GOOD. This would be an attractive staple soap dish for us to use but unfortunately I wouldn't order this again based on the dish coming apart when used. Maybe the metal drain disk could be heavier to avoid this. I usually disregard doing any product reviews but thought I'd comment on this specific product which should function as it was intended to - but doesn't.
