Blocks

My children love to use these to build all kinds of things. They change uses with the will and imagination of my kids...they can be castles, city roads, houses, towers, robots, etc. The block mates that turn blocks into animals were a wonderful addition. My mother still has my childhood set that the grandkids play with when they visit her house so I know these blocks will be around for a long time! I am so excited that my kids have these and can use their imagination and creativity freely in play instead of many of the current toys that have all the bells and whistles that honestly, in my opinion, do too much for the kids and take away from originality and imaginative play."..."  Read more

We chose it because it’s a wooden toy and made in Germany. We bought this for our 2 year old daughter. She loves to build a tower with it – and demolish after that. But this is normal in that age. Now she starts to build other things with it… . The blocks are well made from solid untreated beech wood. I use this with my 2 year old. It is a great learning tool. We are able to work on colors, shapes, matching, counting, and more with the pattern blocks. One thing that I don't care for with this product is that the pieces are not all the same size. Some of the 'white' pieces, little diamonds are smaller, bigger or wider than others and don't always fit nicely into the picture spots."..."  Read more
