Our 20 month-old grandbaby is so absorbed in these blocks! Generally at this age, kids have short attention spans, but not with this toy. He likes to nest the blocks open-end-up so he can see each piece fit, I hide each piece in an upsidedown nest taking each larger block off revealing the smaller underneath, we line them up left to right, large to small, we make several different size towers, but when we stack them all the way up, he is just mesmorized every time that they are his height. The blocks help with counting and animal recognition, as well. My only complaint is that the graphics are just so busy for a little one...would be helpful in teaching numbers and/or letters if they had a simpler design (and would help tots stack the tower according to the pattern)...numbers on one side, shapes on another, animals on yet another. Similar design to the 19" cardboard nesting block set you have. But all in all its a wonderful toy and a terrific price!"..." Read more
