Blocks

Our 20 month-old grandbaby is so absorbed in these blocks! Generally at this age, kids have short attention spans, but not with this toy. He likes to nest the blocks open-end-up so he can see each piece fit, I hide each piece in an upsidedown nest taking each larger block off revealing the smaller underneath, we line them up left to right, large to small, we make several different size towers, but when we stack them all the way up, he is just mesmorized every time that they are his height. The blocks help with counting and animal recognition, as well. My only complaint is that the graphics are just so busy for a little one...would be helpful in teaching numbers and/or letters if they had a simpler design (and would help tots stack the tower according to the pattern)...numbers on one side, shapes on another, animals on yet another. Big foam blocks and shapes, super lightweight, stackable, and bright colors. Come in a box with a piece of paper that shows you how they are arranged for storage back in the box, if you want. They're big. Some are smaller, but you get them all out in the room, and they're everywhere. You won't need any other blocks to go along with them. My kids always ask for this toy at bathtime! They love blocks (what child doesn't?), so it's genius to have floating blocks for the tub. Both my boy and my girl enjoy building structures. Seems durable, but only time will tell how well how well they hold up and if they get moldy/slimy over time."..."  Read more

My son is one years old, he's at an age where he likes to get climb onto things and put things into something and take it out. He also likes to push things around, so this ride-on was a hit. He has other Mega Bloks toys, which are perfect for young toddlers 1 year and up to 3 years old. With this ride-on, he is able to ride-on on the truck, put toys inside the dump truck, as well as push the truck around. You just can't go wrong with this ride-on, its durable, easy to clean, and just the right size for a 16-month-old.
