I got the set with 80 blocks of all shapes, sizes and colors. With 5 boys (and a girl), I have to be very careful with toys that could possibly be tossed or thrown at siblings (or windows)! These blocks are made of soft foam and are not only perfect for building on the floor, they are also wonderful for the bathtub! Love the blocks! I was suprised when looking for blocks at toys stores - no one had any (worth getting)! We purchased 2 sets of these for our 3 year old twins and they absolutely love them. They build towers and cages for their animal toys all day. I looked around at prices and if you want a bang for your buck these are your blocks. I've been on the lookout for a good wooden block set for my daughter for awhile now and so didn't have a very hard time choosing what to review from Wayfair as soon as I saw this set! Overall I'm very pleased with it! The pieces are great quality and she's had a lot of fun playing with them so far. The only thing I don't like about the set is that to me 50 pieces sounds like a whole lot, but when they're actually out they don't look like that many. I will probably be buying at least one more set of wooden blocks so she has a bigger collection. I also felt that there were too many smaller pieces and that the pieces didn't work well together for building things like towers and such. I purchased this block set because I wanted some alphabet blocks for teaching my 2 1/2 year old son the alphabet. These are a great size for his little hands and I love that they store in the little wagon. The corners have been rounded on these blocks for safety and the quality is good. Paint seems to be high quality as well. My son loves when I bring out the blocks and I ask him what the shapes, numbers, and letters are. He is learning fast.
