This blender does SO MUCH. Since we've got it, we've been making smoothies every morning. This blender actually heats up its contents for easy soups. You could probably blend elk bones into a fine powder, (if thats your thing). We choose to make almond butter instead. It comes with a really large binder with tips and a recipe book, and we've just been so impressed since we opened the box. GREAT PRODUCT! I have five very health conscious people in my family and we use it mostly to make protein shakes. I bought it about a month ago and this machine is used more than any other appliance in our kitchen, making at least 10 shakes each day. We wore out the last blender in about a year and it was not a cheap one either (Kitchen Aid professional series). I would highly reccommend this blender for people who need to use it a lot.
