With 250 watts of power, 5 speeds, power boost, and professional chrome plated wire beaters, the MX250 makes easy work of the heaviest cookie dough. The included spatula attachment conveniently scrapes the sides of the bowl as you mix. Convenient heel and bowl rests make it easy to set down the mixer while adding ingredients.

Good for a while, but doesn't last I had my previous mixer for nearly 20 years. It finally gave out and I received this one as a gift 18 months ago. This mixer is ok for light work, but I was making cookie dough and it just QUIT. Another reviewer said they have plastic works, so that makes sense. Too much torque on the plastic I suppose. Never had this problem with a hand mixer before, will look for another brand. Other issues: It says it has a bowl rest, but I could never find it. Also pretty noisy..maybe that's the plastic, too? Would not recommend! |

"Waste of Money" I casually bake cake for orders. I bought this mixer 2 months ago. I was mixing butter cream icing and the beaters just stopped turning. I found out later that the mechanism that runs the beaters are made of plastic. They had worn out with just 2 months of usage. |

Black & Decker Defective Mixer We purchaced a Black & Decker Power Pro 250-Watt Mixer last fall locally and when we got it home and used it, we noticed that the slow speed selection was unusually high. We have used it in that condition until now when the mixer will not run unless it is set on the middle setting two up from the slow setting. Even though I had the original box that states it has a 1 year warranty, Black & Decker's customer service refused to help and were not concerned with customer service or their defective product. I have had good luck with Black & Decker products but after this treatment I will no longer purchase anything from Black & Decker. |
