this is the best waffle maker Product Review just turn to waffle ,mine i turn lower towards counter , makes mine just how i like them .the more you turn knob to up possition the darker the waffle . to start , light comes on , wait its getting hot and when light goes out pour one cup batter in middle ,spread to sides and close ,light will then come back on .dont touch waffle till light goes back out open,;; takes about 6 minutes ;; ,and wow perfect waffle every time .i do spray with tiny bit pam befor pouring waffle batter .. it dose get very ,very hot ..so just have pot holders to help when opening .[not for child to use ]it gets hot hot .. . can do many things and works the best ever . do know it gets hot on outside ,becouse its made that way... perfect in every way if used in the correct way .. i highly reccomend if you are willing to understand ,it gets hot on outside allso. try it you can do it and will love it once you learn . some people never read directions ,and get burned ..so i explained .its well worth the money just pay attention. Service Review excellent |

Black Decker Grill Waffle Maker I love this waffle maker. I had been looking for just a old fashion waffle maker for a long time. This one is great. |

"I would buy this product again and agai Product Review Just got to use our Grill and Waffle maker and We love it. You can't buy square waffles anymore, and my kids and my self love them. We used the recipe in the booklet that came with it. When and IF this breaks I will buy another one and it WILL be from Wayfairs. Service Review We received both products I ordered with in 5 days they were in good shape including the box they came in. And didn't need customer service |

GOOD AND NOT SO GOOD I have only used the waffle iron function so far, and do like the removable grids. My main issue is that it doesn't heat evenly and the waffle size is thin. As another reviewer noted, the clips are a bit flimsy and the surface coating easily scratched. |

Decent Waffle Maker; Could be Improved Product Review I have used this once so far. I used my own recipe from a cookbook (whole wheat soaked in buttermilk flour), and made the whole batch for our family of 8 (we ate all the waffles in one sitting). I have not used the griddle side yet for anything and don't know if I'll use it for that. Things I like: 1)I finally have a waffle maker and get to make homemade waffles! 2)I love that the plates detach for easy cleaning 3)There is an indicator light to tell you when the waffles are done (but it's not foolproof--see below). To make waffles, you just turn the knob to "waffle" setting. 4)I can make 4 waffles at a time--much better than one at a time to feed our large family 5)It still works okay for a decent price Things I don't really like: 1)The instructions could have been better as to how the waffle plates attach/detach--it seems hard to line them up exactly, at least on the one I received. 2)I was expecting a solid appliance, but in reality, it is the outer metal shell with the heating elements inside, and the plates that detach (the inside is all hollow, and that was weird to me--seems kind of flimsy, but this is my first waffle iron; maybe that's normal) 3)You have to be very careful as the outside of the waffle iron gets VERY hot and I kept having to herd my children out of the kitchen (who normally like to help) because I was afraid of them getting burned. I also had to be careful when opening it that the top half did not rest against something it could melt, which was hard with my limited counter space 4) The indicator light for waffles goes off and on (it even says this on the instructions), but it going off also indicates when the waffles are done. This makes it difficult to know when the waffles are "really" done. 5) The middle of our waffles were not cooked, but soggy, perhaps because of #4 (not being able to know when they were "really" done I would recommend this to a friend only if letting them know the problems, and if they needed a lower-priced model. Service Review The delivery was very prompt and it was packed securely. |
