Clock is Faulty from Pensacola, FL on 06/01/2011
I like this clock's design and the cuckoo works and sounds great. The time, using the pendulum adjustment, can't be set any better than plus or minus 5 seconds per hour. Consequently the time has to be adjusted every two or three days by turning the minute hand to the correct time. Unfortunately, the constant time adjustments loosened the minute hand and it got stuck pointing down. I tried to adjust the minute hand and tighten the nut but the time/cuckoo synchronization was off by 20 minutes. Now we've stopped the pendulum and don't use the clock except as a wall ornament.

The clock is beautiful and the cuckoo works and sounds great but the time can't be set to any better than plus or minus 5 seconds an hour. Consequently the time has to be adjusted every two or three days. Because time adjustment is accomplished by moving the minute hand, after several months the minute hand came loose from the clock's movement and hung in the down position. Now we've stopped the pendulum and don't use the clock or cuckoo. I tried to adjust the minute hand and tightened the nut but the time/cuckoo synchronization is off by 20 minutes. I don't recommend this clock.
