Bird Feeders

I have had this feeder for 5+ years. It is tricky to mount as it needs to be at least 5' from any squirrel launch platform and have a sturdy mount (too heavy for hanging) I used 2 6' storm fence poles and 4 1/2" conduit holders to attach a pole to each side with a squirrel baffle on each pole. You get many different birds that you do not see with tube feeders or lantern feeders - even wood ducks. The roof lifts up to add feed to the hopper (the gray portion under the roof) It easily hold 10 lb at a time. There are 2 large drain holes in the base covered with screen. I removed one of the screen to allow seed to trickle to the ground for those birds insistent on ground feeding. Warning: this feeder goes thru a lot of seed!"..."  Read more

This bird feeder is great. It is large enough to hold many birds at one time, has a good size raised edge to hold alot of bird food and a roof to keep food dry. It also has 2 screened holes in the bottem to allow water to drain out if you have blowing rain get in."..."  Read more

It's huge (holds 25 ponds of seed), well crafted and very attractive. We have place it on our deck railing about 3.5 feet from the window. The birds have been astounding!"
