I live in GA and the hummers are gone for the season, so I have not been able to try the feeders I purchased. I bought 6 total (3 for me and 3 for my mom). The plastic tube is not thick but I still think it will last if brought in during the winter. I LOVE the holes where the birds will stick their beaks. Thye are closed until the beak enters and opens it up on the inside. My mom likes the design too. At a local expensive bird store, I noticed their feeders have these type feeder ports and was told by the woman who works there the design prevents bees from entering and prevents the constant dripping of the nectar. Of course it will still need an ant guard above it (they all need that unless it is built into the feeder). I am glad I bought these and am excited to use them next Spring."..." Read more
